GENERAL (NON-CONTRACTUAL) LIABILITY INSURANCE
General (non-contractual) liability insurance covers the liability of the insured, arising from the performance of his registered activity, ownership, possession or certain property of things, legal relationship and for damage due to death, injury to body or health, as well as damage or destruction of property of a third party.
Compensation claims on the basis of liability for death, injury to health and damage or destruction of property of a third party can be enormous and can represent a great burden for business.
Considering that such cases are extremely difficult to predict, and can happen in different situations, even when it is least expected, it is definitely advisable to contract an adequate general liability insurance policy.
PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY – This type of liability covers the civil-legal contractual (professional) liability of the insured for damage caused to injured persons as a result of non-fulfillment, deficient fulfillment or delay in the fulfillment of contractual obligations of the insured.
In other words, damages arising from the provision of professional services that may be committed by the employees of the Insured are covered.
